The Morro Castle Lighthouse, as a guardian, keeps the Havana port entrance. A must visit, if you want to know how Havana looks from the other Bay side.
The Morro Castle Lighthouse is located at the Havana Bay entrance. It is part of the defensive constructions built by the Spaniards to face corsairs and pirates attacks. Its tunnels and locals bring us back to colony times. And its impressive walls seems to teel us astounding histories. Enjoy from its height an almost perfect view of Havana City.
The Morro Castle besides La Cabaña Fortress are known as the Morro-Cabaña complex. There, many special events are cellebrated as the 9 o'clock Canion Shooting or "El Cañonazo de las 9" and the International Havana Book Fair.
